With international top headliners such as Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Meduza and the Australian twin duo Nervo, the ninth edition of the ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL (EMF) once again thrilled the fans. A (re)mix of electrifying beats, snow-sure skiing fun and the finest culinary delights was on the program. For the first time as "extended version", the Electric Mountain Side Events took place very successfully from Monday to Wednesday at trendy locations in the ski area. On Thursday and Friday, a total of 18,000 fans celebrated the Electric Mountain Festival on Giggijoch at over 2,000 meters. Next year’s anniversary edition will be held from 08 to 12 April 2024.

Internationally hip DJ celebrities such as Don Diablo, Nervo, Oliver Heldens, Tujamo, Vini Vinci and others were delighted with the exuberant atmosphere that prevailed throughout Sölden during the festival week from 10 to 14 April. Among the Sölden regulars are the twin sisters Miriam and Olivia Nervo. Why do the Australian girls keep coming back? "There is no other festival like this. We are happy to be a part of it. In Sölden, we feel especially at ease." Also, the Dutch DJ and producer Oliver Heldens always has good memories of Sölden: "I love skiing. Whenever there is an opportunity, I am on the slopes. That's why I also brought my family to Ötztal."

There were some innovations for the music fans at the ninth ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL: The "extended version" of the festival not only included additional locations in the ski area with even more live acts, but also a networking event in the ice Q, where partners, management and DJs exchanged ideas at 3,048 meters. Under the motto SuSCHI & Beats, gourmands enjoyed the combination of cool sounds, an exclusive food bar by 2-toque chef Klaus Holzer and sushi from the renowned sushi master Dil Ghamal in one of the two VIP areas on Giggijoch. From 08 to 12 April 2024, the ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL invites you to join its tenth anniversary.

ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL as ”Extended Version” for the first time
The 2023 edition provided trendy beats at various locations in the ski area and prime slope conditions with lots of fresh snow. As a warm-up, the music fans celebrated at the FALCON restaurant at the middle station of Gaislachkogl mountain gondola by enjoying the beats presented by Julian Jordan and Never Sleep. Another highlight: straight from the piste to the dance floor of Two Kinx in Annemaries Hühnersteign and at Sölden’s cult bar Philipp, where the sounds of Super Flu and AKA AKA were on the program. Established DJs Tujamo and Rudy MC celebrated with the EMF community at the Rettenbach Market Restaurant on the glacier. The festival crowd then headed towards Panorama Alm with live acts of YouNotUs and Riva Elegance. The ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL snow groomer served as a truly unique and eye-catching turntable setup. For the finale on Thursday and Friday, Giggijoch turned into a large festival area with a striking main stage. On the turntables: Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Nervo and Meduza as well as other renowned acts of the international DJ scene. The mixture of electrifying beats and casual hut flair guaranteed even more fun on the slopes and variety in 2023.

Grand Finale on the 28-meter main stage at Giggijoch
The place to be when it comes to good mood and atmosphere: The iconic main stage on Giggijoch at over 2,000 meters, equipped with 160 m² LED area complete with pulsating light show and splendid sound effects. To crown the entire festival week, fans celebrated with the top stars of the electric music scene on the unique, snow-covered dance floor at the heart of the alpine scenery.

Skipass includes Festival Ticket
This year's edition made it clear that the ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL unites both music and ski fans. Side events in the ski area and the main events on Giggijoch are included in the Sölden day skipass and are therefore accessible free of charge. Thanks to the upgrade of the festival zone at Giggijoch, the new VIP area also offered additional quality and comfort, culinary highlights and reserved seats offering the best view of the festival stage.
