Thanks to the privileged high alpine altitude and modern infrastructure, winter sports aficionados can enjoy tailor-made skiing days in Ötztal. Choose from top destinations such as Sölden, Gurgl and Hochoetz. The Ötztal Super Skipass is the ultimate key to a complete offer with 363 slope kilometers and 90 mountain lifts.

“8 kilometers of great skiing without a break". This is how German YouTuber Marius Quast titles one of his most recent clips where he enjoys the downhill ski run from the spectacular Top Mountain Star (3030 m) down to the valley floor of Pill in Gurgl. The self-titled "Diamond of the Alps" not only inspires YouTubers with excellent stamina. The Gurgl winter ski area comprises fun on the slopes on 112 perfectly groomed kilometers of pistes between 1800 and 3080 meters. 25 mountain lifts make sure that ambitious sportspeople improve their turns quickly. Positive side effect: due to the high transport capacity, there is a lot of comfort and free space on the slopes without any waiting times. Additionally, great tobogganing fun is guaranteed on the 3 km long natural toboggan run with 25 curves.

The same applies to the popular destination of Sölden. Here, 144 kilometers of pistes - including three 3000 meter high mountains that are accessible on skis by mountain gondola - promise unlimited fun on the wide open ski runs between 1350 and 3340 meters altitude. Special tip: all fans of long runs can complete equally intensive downhill stretches here without breaks. For example, from the top station of Schwarze Schneid Bahn (3250 m) on Rettenbach Glacier down to Sölden (1360 m). However, some scenic breaks are always recommended. The view from the summit of Gaislachkogl, where you also find the ice Q gourmet restaurant awarded with 2 toques, boasts magnificent photo motifs. The same applies to the footbridge on Tiefenbach Glacier where you should take a selfie with mighty Wildspitze peak in the background, North Tirol’s highest mountain (3774 m). You can also enjoy fabulous vistas from the 7.3 km toboggan run in Sölden, which ranks among the longest of its kind in Austria.

The Hochoetz ski region at the entrance to Ötztal welcomes winter fans in a particularly beginner and family-friendly manner. It offers 13 modern mountain lifts on 41 slope kilometers leading up to 2272 m. With the Hochoetz-Kühtai Skipass you even have up to 88 slope kilometers.

All ski areas with a single pass

The unrivaled Ötztal Super Skipass combines the full variety of slopes in Tirol’s longest side valley. It is available if you purchase a skipass for 3 or more days and bundles all six local ski areas - including Sölden and Gurgl - with a total of 363 slope kilometers and 90 mountain lifts. All those who opt for a 6-day skipass or longer, will also benefit from free admission to 007 ELEMENTS in Sölden and Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum in Gurgl. Europe’s highest motorcycle museum enchants visitors with an unbelievable variety of historical exhibits. In the James Bond Adventure World on the summit of Gaislachkogl at 3048 m, visitors can indulge in the fascinating world of the most popular movie spy 007. One thing is for sure: it's worth buying your skipass in advance. Early birds save up to 22 percent when buying online skipasses ahead of time. This applies to the purchase of day skipasses and staggered tickets as well as the Ötztal Super Skipass.
