ANDREA GATTI APPOINTED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – COMMERCIAL
OPERATIONS

Mr. Andrea Gatti, M.Sc.(Econ.), has been appointed Executive Vice
President – Commercial Operations and member of the Group Executive
Committee as of April 1, 2005. Mr. Gatti currently works as Managing
Director of Outokumpu S.p.A., the Italian sales company of Outokumpu
Stainless.

Andrea Gatti’s group-wide responsibilities will entail the Commercial
Excellence program, sales strategy and planning, marketing, sales
company network, stock and processing and selected key accounts.
Within the Group Executive Committee he will report to Karri Kaitue,
Deputy Chief Executive.
