Outokumpu Oyj (business identity code: 0215254-2) has today, February 28, 2014 received a notification based on Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Market Act from Solidium Oy (business identity code: 2245475-9).
Such notification by Solidium contains the following information:
Solidium Oy’s holding in Outokumpu Oyj’s shares and voting rights exceeds 25 % and increases from 21.8% and 453 802 237 shares to 29.9% and 621 346 323 shares and voting rights.
This announcement is related to an announcement regarding change in holdings by Solidium Oy on November 29, 2013 as ThyssenKrupp AG divests all its shares in Outokumpu Oyj by selling these shares to certain arranger banks who will sell them further to institutional investors. Solidium Oy has on November 29, 2013 signed a share purchase agreement whereby it acquires 167 544 086 shares in Outokumpu Oyj from the aforementioned banks. This arrangement has been completed on the date of this announcement regarding change in holdings.
Outokumpu has a total of 2 078 081 348 shares. Each share carries one vote. Outokumpu holds 947 729 of its own shares.
