Outokumpu – Announcement regarding change in holdings

Outokumpu Oyj (business identity code: 0215254-2, “Outokumpu”) has received a notification based on Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Market Act from Kansaneläkelaitos (business identity code: 0246246-0).

Such notification by Kansaneläkelaitos contains the following information:

Due to the share subscription made by Kansaneläkelaitos on 4 April 2012 and the registration of the new shares in Outokumpu to the Finnish Trade Register on 17 April 2012, Kansaneläkelaitos’ holdings in Outokumpu have fallen below 5 percent of the shares and voting rights of Outokumpu. Kansaneläkelaitos currently owns 62,493,263 shares, which represent 4.289 percent of the shares and voting rights of Outokumpu.

The share capital of Outokumpu currently consists of 1,457,038,776 shares. Each share carries one vote.
