Outokumpu appoints Michael Williams President and Head of Business Area Coil Americas, joins Outokumpu Leadership Team

Outokumpu today announced the appointment of Michael Williams as the President and Head of Business Area Coil Americas and member of the Outokumpu Leadership Team as of July 1, 2015. Williams has over two decades of experience in the metals industry, including sixteen years at US Steel where he held a number of senior leadership positions, as well as the position of the CEO in Ormet Corporation, an aluminum company.

He has a deep understanding of the market and long relationship with many of our key customers in the United States. Jose Ramon Salas who has been the interim head of Coil Americas will resume his position as the Head of Mexinox.
