Outokumpu extends CE marking approval for construction products

Complementing existing approvals in flat products, Outokumpu has achieved a CE marking approval for its cold drawn and peeled bar products supplied to hEN 10088-5:2009, thereby complying with the legal requirement for all construction products specified to a harmonized European Standard under the Construction Products Regulation. This covers the supply of long products for construction purposes.  

Says Steve Jones, Product and Market Development Manager: “This provides our customers with greater flexibility as it allows the use of our products in construction applications across the EU.”

The CE labeled long products, 1.4301, 1.4307, 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4305 and 1.4162 (hot rolled form only) in sizes 6 to 105mm, are now available from Sheffield Stainless Bar.
