Outokumpu Oyj - transfer of treasury shares

Outokumpu Oyj has transferred a total of 279 930 of treasury shares to the persons participating in the 2002 share remuneration scheme for management. The number of shares transferred was calculated based on the trading volume weighted average share price of EUR 14.12 on February 14, 2005. Following the transfer Outokumpu holds 218 603 treasury shares.
