OUTOKUMPU OYJ SIGNED EUR 1 BILLION REVOLVING CREDIT FACILITY

Outokumpu Oyj has today signed a five-year EUR 1 billion revolving
credit facility. The facility was oversubscribed from its initial
launch amount of EUR 800 million and has subsequently been increased
to EUR 1 billion.

The facility is a committed credit facility and it replaces the
comparable EUR 875 million facility signed in May 2003.

The Mandated Lead Arrangers are ABN AMRO Bank N.V., The Bank of
Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd., Danske Bank A/S, J.P.Morgan plc and Nordea.
