Outokumpu’s Annual report 2023 published
Outokumpu has published its Annual report 2023 today, on March 1. In 2023, Outokumpu once again made a new record in its recycled material usage in its production and 95% of all raw materials were recycled. The company also progressed in reducing the CO2 emissions – since the baseline of 2016, the CO2 emissions have decreased 27%. Because of Outokumpu’s up to 75% lower carbon footprint compared to the industry average, we were able to help our customers reduce their CO2 emissions by 12 million tonnes last year*.
Outokumpu’s Annual report is published in English and Finnish, and it includes Annual review with the highlights of 2023, Sustainability review, Corporate Governance statement, Remuneration report, Financial statements, and Review by the Board of Directors.
Outokumpu publishes the Financial statements and Review by the Board of Directors in accordance with European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) reporting requirements with the XHTML format (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language). In line with the ESEF requirements, the primary statements and notes to the consolidated financial statements have been labelled with XBRL tags. The audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy has provided an independent auditor’s reasonable assurance report on Outokumpu’s ESEF financial statements in Finnish in accordance with ISAE 3000 (revised). The ESEF report is available in the zip file attached to this release.
Our Sustainability review is prepared with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and aligned with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework. The Sustainability review has been assured.
