OUTOKUMPUS DELIVERIES IN 2005
The following table presents preliminary information on Outokumpus
stainless steel deliveries in 2005.

Order backlog of Technology
Order backlog at the end of
period, EUR million 596 524 596 458
Outokumpus stainless steel deliveries decreased by 8% in 2005
compared with the previous year. This was mainly due to low demand
as a result of strong de-stocking in Europe and roll-out of new
capacity especially in China. The order backlog of Outokumpu
Technology increased substantially as a result of continued firm
investment activity in the mining and metals industry.
Restated divisional figures
Outokumpu Stainless Tubular Products business has been transferred
from General Stainless division to Specialty Stainless in October
2005. The attached tables present the restated figures for 2004 and
January-September 2005 according to the new structure.
