OUTOKUMPU'S NEW FINANCIAL REPORTING SCHEDULE FOR 2004

Outokumpu’s financial reporting schedule for 2004 has been changed
due to the Boliden transaction. The changes relate to interim
reports to be issued in 2004. The financial reporting dates for
2004 are as follows:
- The 2003 Financial Statements Bulletin, February 10, 2004
  (no change)
- The 2003 Annual Report, week starting March 15, 2004
  (no change)
- Interim Report, 1st quarter 2004, April 28, 2004 (new date)
- Interim Report, 2nd quarter 2004, August 5, 2004 (new date)
- Interim Report, 3rd quarter 2004, October 26, 2004 (new date)

The Annual General Meeting of Outokumpu Oyj is tentatively
scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2004. The Board of Directors of the
Company will decide on the summoning of the Meeting at a later
date.
