Sale of Outokumpu's filter business to Larox completed

The sale of Outokumpu Technology's filter business to Larox has on January 8, 2004, been completed. At closing the total transaction value was EUR 31 million, and the capital employed of the business sold EUR 12 million.

The filter business sold to Larox generates annual net sales of some EUR 40 million and it employs some 170 persons in seven countries. Employees will transfer to Larox. The most well known trademarks include Pannevis, Hoesch and Ceramec.
