Changes in Ovako’s group management

Ovako has appointed Mathias Tillman as the new President of Business Area Ovako Bright Bar in Hällefors, and a member of the group management. Anders Henström, formerly President of Business Area Bright Bar, becomes the new President of Business Area Ovako Bar Hofors-Hällefors.

Mathias Tillman has previously held several senior positions at Sandvik and joins us from the role of Global Business Unit Manager at Sandvik Hard Materials, located in the UK. He was previously also Managing Director of Sandvik Hard Materials, Greater China Region and was based in Taiwan.

Anders Henström has worked in Ovako since 1985, most recently as President of Business Area Ovako Bright Bar. Anders Henström has been a member of the group management since 2011. He remains responsible for the Cromax unit in his new position. The unit in Forsbacka, which was previously a part of Bright Bar, will now become a part of Business Area Bar SmeBox.

Sten Lyckström, formerly President of Business Area Bar Hofors-Hällefors, will assume the role of Group Senior Advisor and will support the group in major strategic projects. He continues to report to the CEO.

“Sten Lyckström has longstanding and solid experience in Ovako and will make a significant contribution to key strategic projects within the group,” says Tom Erixon.
