Klaus Enwald new President of Business Unit Imatra

Klaus Enwald has been appointed as the new President of Business Unit Imatra. He starts his new role January 1, 2021 and succeeds Janne Pirttijoki, who has decided to take on new opportunities outside Ovako. 

Klaus has been employed at Ovako since 2015. He started as Human Resources (HR) manager for Business Unit Imatra and has during the last year been the VP Head of Product Unit Steel & Rolling Mill. Prior to Ovako, Klaus worked as Head of labor relations at Paroc OY. He has also worked in various roles within production, maintenance and HR at UPM-Kymmene Oyj.

Klaus takes over from Janne Pirttijoki, who will leave Ovako on January 31, 2021.
