Ovzon gets order from Saab

Ovzon has received an order from the Swedish defense and technology company Saab. The order relates to integration and test of Ovzon's mobility broadband satellite services on some of Saab's moving platforms.

Ovzon´s unique mobility broadband service enables the highest data rates from the smallest satellite terminals. The Ovzon system was specifically developed to enable so called Beyond Line Of Sight (BLOS) broadband communication to moving platforms. Very small platforms, that are typically too small for other satellite broadband solutions, can be equipped with Ovzon BLOS broadband communication. In addition, whether used in air, on land or sea, small terminals simplify the integration on the platform.

“We are happy to receive this order from Saab. We developed our service to be able to provide broadband communication over the horizon. This order is a validation that our service, enabling small mobile terminals with high data rates, is attractive in several areas of the defense sector", says Magnus René, CEO of Ovzon.

FNCA Sweden AB, +46(0)8-528 00 399, info@fnca.se, is the company’s Certified Adviser.
