The U.S. DoD, through our partner Lite Coms LLC, has purchased an initial order of three Ovzon T6 terminals based on the T6’a versatility in supporting a wide variety of mission sets to include airborne operations.

The U.S. DoD recently placed an order for Ovzon T6 terminals based on its ultra-small form factor, light weight, ease of use, and industry leading performance.  While the Ovzon T6 offers unmatched versatility in nearly any environment, these characteristics make it particularly suited to support the unique demands of airborne operations. The Ovzon T6 replaces larger, heavier, less capable systems that must be distributed between multiple personnel to establish vital communications links.

Weighing just 13 pounds, the Ovzon T6 operates for hours on a common external battery and is placed into operation within minutes.  This order will play a role in significantly reducing the load on military personnel while increasing capability by enabling full redundancy through multiple Ovzon T6’s.

“We are very pleased to receive this order from a new U.S. Government customer. This order further validates that our mission to offer mobile broadband via satellite with the highest bandwidth through the smallest terminals is more relevant than ever. says Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
