UNDERWRITER SUBSCRIBES FOR OPTIONAL SHARES
UNDERWRITER SUBSCRIBES FOR OPTIONAL SHARES Pursuant to the authorisation given by the ordinary shareholders meeting of Hartwall Plc on 29 March 2000, Hartwall Plc has today increased its share capital by issuing 300,000 new A Shares, which today have been subscribed by Enskilda Securities to cover over-allotments in the companys institutional offering which ended April 19, 2000. In addition, the company has today approved Pripps Ringnes ABs subscription of 76,800 new A Shares, which still remained subject to further approval. The said 76,800 new A Shares were included in the 1 100 700 new A Shares subscribed by Pripps Ringnes AB in relation to the share issue directed to it. Thus, the companys share capital has been increased by a total of 75,360 euro by issuing 376,800 new A Shares. The said share capital increases have today, on May 3, 2000, been entered into the Trade Register. The increased share capital is 13,190,140 euro divided into 65,950,700 shares.
