2011 PA State Capitol Pink Fountain Kick-Off


Led by the PA Breast Cancer Coalition and PA First Lady Susan Corbett (pictured second from left), the East Wing fountain at the PA State Capitol turned pink on Wednesday, September 28th. Pat Halpin-Murphy, President & Founder of the PA Breast Cancer Coalition (pictured third from left), Sherri Phillips, Secretary of the PA Department of General Services (pictured far right), and Debbie Freer, PBCC Board Member and 32-year breast cancer survivor (pictured left) joined Mrs. Corbett to commemorate the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each day, 32 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Pennsylvania while over 140,000 women are living with the disease.
