PA Resources has completed the drilling of a new production well at the Didon field offshore Tunisia.

The oil and gas group PA Resources has completed the drilling of a horizontal production well, Didon-10, at the Didon field in Tunisia. The well was drilled by the jack-up rig Ensco 85 into the El Gueria reservoir. This was done in a cost-effective way through partly using an earlier drilled well. The well penetrated a 350 meter long horizontal section of premium reservoir.

- We are very pleased with the successful drilling and the fact that we now will be able to increase the production at the Didon-field. The new production well increases PA Resources' total production and gives us  great confidence that we will produce according to our earlier communicated forecast for 2009 of between 11,000 to 14,000 barrels per day in average, says Ulrik Jansson, President and CEO at PA Resources AB.

Including the new well, a total of five wells will be in production at the production platform at the Didon field.
PA Resources has a 100 percent working interest in the field.
