PA Resources divests interest in two small Tunisian fields

PA Resources has signed an agreement to divest its working interest in the Ezzaouia and El Bibane oil producing fields in Tunisia for USD 4.0 million (equivalent to approximately SEK 27.5 million).The oil and gas group PA Resources has agreed to divest its 13.6% working interest in the Ezzaouia Field and 23.9% working interest in the El Bibane Field, both located in Tunisia, for USD 4.0 million (prior to closing adjustments). The assets are acquired by Candax Energy Inc., whose subsidiary is a partner as well operator in both fields. The transaction has an effective date of 1st January 2012

First oil at Aseng increases PA Resources production

Production of oil has commenced on the Aseng Field in Block I in Equatorial Guinea. The field will contribute approximately 3,000 barrels of oil per day net to PA Resources. The Aseng project was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.First oil flowed from the field into the Aseng floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel on November 6, 2011. The oil production rate has steadily ramped up as 4 subsea wells have been brought online. Unsuccessful well test at Didon North

PA Resources has encountered complications during flow testing of the new production well on the satellite field Didon North in Tunisia. It has been decided to suspend the well.Despite good oil saturation in the reservoir, only small amounts of hydrocarbons have been recovered from the Didon North well in recent flow tests. Exploration well at Lille John spudded

The oil and gas group PA Resources continues its drilling campaign in Licence 12/06 in the Danish North Sea with the commencement of drilling of an exploration well at the Lille John prospect.In July an exploration well was drilled on the Broder Tuck prospect on the Danish License 12/06 and gas and condensate was discovered. In August, a side track encountered additional hydrocarbons. The well has now been plugged and abandoned.
