Pagero announces global enhancements to its network

Pagero is proud to announce global enhancements to its network for strengthened compliance and security as part of a multiregional deployment strategy. These enhancements are designed to meet diverse international and regional regulatory requirements — such as the PDP requirements in France — ensuring robust data protection and secure business transactions for all customers.

The core of the enhancements is a refined structure within the Pagero Network, which now features distinct, autonomous Pagero regions. Each region ensures that data remains secure and isolated, adhering strictly to both local and global data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data within the network is classified meticulously as either Local Data, which does not leave its region, or Global Data, which can be shared across regions under controlled conditions.

Key features of the network enhancements include:

  • Dedicated regional compliance: Each region is designed to securely manage data, preventing unauthorized access and transfers, thereby enhancing the overall security of the network.
  • Controlled data sharing: Local Data sharing across borders is facilitated through a secure Service Layer, allowing for compliant cross-border business interactions.
  • Support for regulated and non-regulated document processes: The updated network supports a wide array of business scenarios, ensuring that both regulated and general business processes adhere to relevant compliance standards.

A benefit of these enhancements is compliance in countries and regions with more complex regulations, with a prime example being the upcoming B2B mandate in France.

With these improvements, the Pagero Network enables customers to comply  with SecnumCloud and GDPR. The updated network architecture ensures that all regulated document exchanges occur within a PDP-compliant Pagero region, safeguarding the integrity of domestic invoicing processes.

In addition, Pagero has also decided to incorporate a data centre in France. This move demonstrates our commitment to supporting the upcoming French mandate and our ability to provide a global, multi-tenanted platform that meets local requirements anywhere.

"With the latest enhancements to the Pagero Network, we are reinforcing our dedication to technological advancement and a secure and compliant environment for all our global customers", said Bård Langöy, CTO of Pagero.

Pagero invites all stakeholders to explore the benefits of the Pagero Network and how it can facilitate more secure, scalable, compliant and efficient business transactions globally.
