Pagero establishes operations in Poland
Pagero opens office in Poland to meet growing demand as national e-invoicing mandate approaches.
On 1 October 2021, The Sejm (Parliament) of the Republic of Poland amended the VAT Act mandating Polish taxpaying businesses to issue and receive invoices electronically no later than January 2023.
In light of the new mandate, Pagero has made the decision to establish local operations in Poland. The motive for the investment is to penetrate the Polish market and to better support international businesses with operations in Poland.
“The Polish market stands before a swift and significant digital transformation in business communication which Pagero intends to be part of. We see a clear gap in the current local competitive landscape, and especially for multinational businesses that are likely affected by similar mandates in other countries. Pagero’s Polish customer base has grown quite substantial over the last few years and with the new national demand we foresee rapid growth for the future” says Bengt Nilsson, CEO of Pagero.
Pagero aims to be fully operational with a local organization in Poland by Q1 2022 and will bring an offering to market that connects Pagero Network customers to the national e-invoicing system (KSeF).
