SPOTLITE comes in an easily portable laptop design for the modern woman on the go, contains a handy integrated tray for essential makeup and accessories, and can be operated by both battery and electricity. Each SPOTLITE comes with a high clarity 5x magnification mirror that can attach magnetically to the main illuminated mirror.

Demand for a Solution

SPOTLITE came out of a personal need, says founder and designer Andrea Alli. “Like most women, mirrors are part of my daily routine, but I was growing tired from constant frustration with available alternatives that were poorly illuminated.” Andrea saw countless examples, from friends to makeup gurus, all contorting themselves to catch light from a window, or stashing every lamp in the house next to the mirror to get better lighting. “I demand more from my everyday products. There wasn’t a great solution out there, so I made one,” explains Andrea.

Daylight in Your Pocket

SPOTLITE is more than just daylight-quality illumination for your reflection. By using LED lights, BARE Studio has eliminated the need to ever replace the bulbs. Plus, SPOTLITE comes with an adjustable dimmer for individual lighting preferences.

The laptop design was BARE Studio’s solution to portability. Most illuminated and magnified full-sized makeup mirrors are designed with a clunky base and are meant to be stationary objects on a desk or bathroom sink. SPOTLITE’s laptop-like features allow users to throw it in a purse and carry it anywhere. Whether staying in a hotel, spending a busy day out of the house, or always on the run, users have the comfort of taking quality illumination wherever they go. How to Access

BARE Studio is launching a Kickstarter campaign to gain the funds necessary to begin manufacturing SPOTLITE on a large scale. The campaign begins June 3, 2014, and will run to July 3rd. SPOTLITE will only receive funding if backers collectively donate GBP 28,600 (around $46K). Backers who fund the project will receive the first production of SPOTLITEs by November 2014.
