Panattoni Park Rosersberg roof completed
This spring, Panattoni broke ground for 40,000 square meters of logistics and industrial properties in one of Sweden's prime logistics locations, Rosersberg, north of Stockholm. Yesterday, 85 guests gathered to celebrate the completion of the facility's roof structure.
Panattoni, one of Europe's largest logistics property developers, has emerged as a major player in the Nordic region with numerous ongoing projects. In October, the company completed its first industrial and logistics property in Enköping. Another project progressing rapidly is Panattoni Park Rosersberg, located in a central location near Stockholm. Yesterday marked the celebration of the roof being completed on the two buildings, with Fredrik Jagersjö Rosell, Managing Director at Panattoni, in attendance.
"Panattoni Park Rosersberg boasts an excellent location in close proximity to the Rosersberg intermodal terminal and Stockholm. Our strategy to offer customers spaces in central locations is reinforced by establishing ourselves here.”
In the vicinity of Panattoni Park Rosersberg, one of Sweden's largest full-service terminals, provides opportunities for efficient and environmentally friendly transport between the continent and Stockholm. The property is also closely connected to the E4 highway, offering quick access to, among other places, Arlanda Airport, Stockholm Central, and cities throughout the Nordic region.
Annika Bröms, the Business Development Manager of Sigtuna municipality, was also present at the topping-out ceremony.
"Panattoni’s establishment in Sigtuna is significant for the expansion of the logistics industry, creating many new jobs and important revenues for the region.”
The property is set to receive the BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification. The buildings have many sustainable features, including solar panel-ready roofs. Additionally, the number of parking spaces, charging stations, and outdoor areas can be adjusted to meet the tenants’ requirements. What sets this property apart from others in the area is that Panattoni has secured a massive 4 MW power connection, which ensures the possibility of automation, production, or other electricity-intensive activities.
The land in Sigtuna was initially acquired by Kilenkrysset. Jan Persson, who is the CEO, owner, and chairman of the board, was also present at the topping-out ceremony.
"It is great to see that Panattoni has made significant progress in managing this project. The fact that the construction of one of our previous land areas at Stockholm Nord Logistics Center has begun is of great importance to us. We have been active in this area since the early 2000s and we believe that there are still many development opportunities to come. This is a positive sign for the entire Sigtuna municipality.”
The properties are expected to be occupied in the first quarter of 2024.
