Panattoni, Europe's largest developer of logistics and industrial properties, has several logistics properties under development in Mälardalen, Gothenburg, and southern Sweden. Now, the company has obtained a 100,000 sqm land assignment agreement in Arboga, replenishing its land portfolio. The plan is to develop a BTS project - a logistics or industrial property customized to meet the specific requirements of the tenants.

Since its entrance into the Swedish market in 2021, Panattoni has become a major player in the industry, with ongoing projects covering 240,000 square meters. Already in October this year, the first building, Panattoni Park Enköping, will be ready for inauguration. Now, Panattoni adds to the portfolio a land assignment agreement in Arboga municipality.

Panattoni has global experience in building standardized logistics and large production facilities with complex conditions, including B-T-S (Build-to-Suit).

 – Panattoni's business model mainly focuses on running projects for speculation, allowing for the quick provision of space for logistics and light industry when tenants require it. But we also have extensive experience building properties tailored to customers' needs, such as the one in Arboga, says Fredrik Jagersjö Rosell, Managing Director Panattoni Sweden.

The land in Arboga municipality is strategically located at the intersection of E18 and E20, with close proximity to Örebro, Västerås, and Eskilstuna, and is situated 150 km from Stockholm. The property offers the possibility of getting railway tracks into the property and a strong power supply, which also makes it suitable for production.

 – Panattoni's presence in Arboga will increase awareness of our industrial and logistics space offerings to Swedish and international companies. Collaborating with players like Panattoni is of utmost importance, and we hope it can lead to more jobs and activities in the region, says Samuel Strömgren, head of business development for the Arboga municipality.
