Darfall Unveils New Demo with Enhanced Visuals and New Scenario Editor

STOCKHOLM, November 11th, 2024 - Today, Paradox Arc and SquareNite released a new demo for Darfall, their upcoming hero-based, city-building survival game. The demo offers revamped graphics, an update to the Survival mode as well as a brand-new Scenario Editor. With the editor, players can unleash their creativity to design custom maps and game modes, adding further depth and replayability. The demo is available on Steam now for free.

Darfall is a strategy game where players control a hero tasked with both exploring the surrounding lands to grow in power and managing a small village as it expands into a thriving town. By day, players gather resources, strengthen their hero, and develop their settlement—but as night falls, dark forces lurking in the land send waves of minions to attack. Each passing night brings stronger, more relentless enemies, challenging players to defend their home with increasing skill and strategy.

The Scenario Editor offers freedom and creativity to players by allowing them to design and make their own maps, quests and even game modes. The editor has easy-to-use tools for editing terrain, triggers, quests, creating custom items and much more. Players can also share their creations via the Steam Workshop.

Use the day to gather resources, fortify your town, and explore the surrounding lands. When the night falls, defend your people and their homes against the waves of enemies, until the break of dawn.

Choose your heroes

Be creative with the Scenario Editor

Build your own scenarios, maps, quests, and even whole, scripted campaigns with an extensive in-game editor. Share your creations with other players and set your imagination free.

Conquer the night in survival mode

Test yourself in a challenging survival mode, where every night brings new, growing terrors. Survive the onslaught, and rebuild every morning to face the undead hordes again. Fight until you win glory… or reprieve in death.
