Today, Parans and Southern California Public Power Authority ("SCPPA") signed a framework agreement to facilitate the sales of Parans solutions to the energy companies in Southern California. SCPPA acts as the energy companies’ purchasing organization and via the framework agreement, Parans has also been approved as a supplier.

Parans and SCPPA have after several months of negotiations settled the framework agreement which will open the sales to every municipal energy company in Southern California, who are members of SCPPA. The framework agreement is also significant in that it enables Parans to reach the public sector in California. Some of the key customers have awaited the approval and will now start to look into demo installations for their sites. SCPPA works with different energy efficiency programs to decrease the members’ operational cost, which of course also affects the end customers. Parans’ solution may for example become a part of the energy efficiency measures.

- During last autumn, I met many of the energy companies who are members of SCPPA and they showed a great interest for our solution, says Anders Koritz, CEO at Parans. They have awaited the approval of Parans as supplier and it is very positive that we can now proceed with project discussions with them.
