Parans strategic partner Molex market the cooperation within fiber optics
Parans’ fiber supplier Molex is showing off internally within the Koch Group, the US’ second largest privately owned company with a global business in 50 countries with nearly 120,000 employees, as a proud supplier to Parans.

Within Molex more than 40,000 people are working globally in 50 countries. Polymicro is one of Molex’s brands, where fiber optics are included. Since Molex is now Parans' strategic supplier of fiber optic cables, the company can also proudly showcase a new segment for their high-quality products. In its internal communication within the Koch Group, the company has given Parans great attention in an internal press release that went out last Thursday. As the fiber optic cables account for a significant part of the value of Parans' solution, this is a substantial deal for Molex and Polymicro.
Teo Tichindelean, Global Product Manager for Polymicro, says among others in Molex’ internal press release: ” Using Molex high quality optical fibers and Parans proprietary technology, it’s possible to bring daylight thirty stories deep into a building and up to one hundred meters away from outside daylight.” Further he describes some of the installations performed in the US, such as University of Arizona, and the advantages with staying in natural light, for example increased productivity and well-being.
- We have a very professional supplier in Molex, says Lennart Ahlsted, COO at Parans. As a little company there could be challenges to get the right kind of attention within large organisations, but we have found a good cooperation with Molex and we really see that they believe in our product.
