Mums across the UK have joined #Mumblesale: a giant online jumble sale where parents can find treats and gifts for their own family; while helping to raise money for less fortunate children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (G.O.S.H.).
As #Mumblesale enters its second week, the organizer, International courier ParcelHero, says it has been overwhelmed by the generosity of donating companies and parents. Find out what’s available now at the live auctions.
Says ParcelHero’s Head of Public Relations, David Jinks: ‘All money raised from the #Mumblesale will go straight to G.O.S.H. We have received exciting donations from companies such as: The Book People; Bugaboo; GAP Kids; Igloo kids, Loud Apparel, Mattel, Playmobil and VTech. As I speak there’s a Disney Frozen light-up castle and a fabulous starter bike from KaZAM attracting enthusiastic bids on the #Mumblesale auction.’
Manufacturers and retailers large and small have contributed, as well as generous parents. As Mat Newman, founder of WeeRideUK, says: ‘I was delighted to be approached by ParcelHero to contribute to such a great cause as the GOSH appeal. As a parent I know how difficult it is when your child isn’t well, so anything we can do to put a smile on a face at GOSH is a win as far as I am concerned.”
