Join the Great #Mumblesale and Raise Money for Great Ormond St Hospital
The bids are starting in ParcelHero’s #Mumblesale: an online jumble sale raising money for the famous London children’s hospital.
Mums across the UK are being urged to join in on #Mumblesale: a giant online jumble sale where parents can find treats and gifts for their own family while helping to raise money for less fortunate children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (G.O.S.H.).
The organizers, International courier ParcelHero (a Great Ormond Street Hospital Corporate Partner), say everything from toddler toys to baby bonnets will be up for auction, thanks to generous donations from businesses and parents across the UK. Says ParcelHero’s Head of Public Relations, David Jinks: ‘By taking part in our #Mumblesale mums (and dads!) will be raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, to help further their incredible work for sick children. As well as bids, we are seeking donations of children’s clothes and toys, both new and second hand, which we’ll then be auctioning. All money raised from the #Mumblesale will go straight to G.O.S.H.’
Adds David “We have already had generous donations from companies such as Bugaboo, Mattel, Playmobil and VTech, and from kind-hearted parents and bloggers from across the UK; but we still need more items for others to bid on.”

Originally starting with just 10 beds, Great Ormond Street Hospital was the first dedicated hospital for children in the UK, and has grown to become a world leading organisation in child health. Although predominantly funded by the NHS, G.O.S.H. relies heavily on donations to further its cutting-edge research and development into Child Medicine.
