Half Term Fun Adventures in the Forest

Moira, nr.Swadlincote, South Derbyshire – This coming Half Term holiday (29th May to 6th June 2010), will see the award-winning Conkers attraction in the heart of the National Forest provide a great programme of events and activities to entertain the whole family throughout the Whitsun break. The 120 acre centre, offers families the chance to enjoy the Enchanted Forest indoor adventure zone, the brand-new Barefoot Walk, the Conkachoo train and daily activities with the rangers. Each day of the holiday has additional entertainment laid on, all included within the entry price. Adventures in the Forest at Conkers this Whitsun are as follows: Sunday 30th May – Between 12 noon to 4pm, the Circus Workshop at the Waterside Centre invites families to try their hand at a new circus skill and offers an exciting, entertaining and enjoyable event. Monday 31st May – Animal Man, Nick Spellman, is hosting his live animal show in the covered Waterside amphitheatre, at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. At the Discovery Centre, the Dream Ponies are visiting, offering children the chance to ride a pony between 12 noon and 4pm. Tuesday 1st June – The Circus Workshop is available between 12 noon and 4pm at the Waterside amphitheatre while the Dream Ponies are visiting the Discovery Centre between 12 noon and 4pm. Wednesday 2nd June – Nick Spellman the Animal Man is back and is performing his famous show at the Waterside amphitheatre at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Thursday 3rd June – The ‘Green Man’ is visiting the Waterside Amphitheatre and will be staging his show at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm. The Dream Ponies are also at the Discovery Centre between 12 noon and 4pm. Friday 4th June – The Circus Workshops are available between 12 noon and 4pm at the Waterside amphitheatre.
