Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, UK – 7th December 2009 - Planning Solutions Ltd, a British company specialising in the operation of visitor attractions, has retained the services of Shropshire-based public relations agency Parker Ward to publicise its brewing visitor centre and museum in Burton on Trent. The new centre will be based at the Horninglow Road site of the Coors Visitor Centre and Museum of Brewing (formerly the Bass Museum) which closed last year. Called The National Brewery Centre, it will retain key elements of the existing facilities, updating and reorganising the site to create a unique visitor attraction that will ensure its success well into the 21st Century. “Burton has a proud position in not only the UK’s brewing industry, but throughout the world” said John Lowther, chief executive of Planning Solutions. “We are delighted to be opening The National Brewery Centre here in Burton and celebrating the vital contribution that the town has made to our brewing industry and heritage. “We looked at a number of PR agencies for this project and Parker Ward not only met our requirements, but came highly recommended.” Tim Ward, managing director of Parker Ward, added: “We are really pleased to be working with Planning Solutions on this prestigious project.” “From our initial involvement, there has been an overwhelming level of support for their plans - locally, nationally and internationally. We’re looking forward to making our contribution towards the success of the venture.” With more new sites due to come online during the next 6-12 months, Planning Solutions has previously been responsible for the success of the popular Conkers visitor attraction in the National Forest, near Swadlincote; a Harry Ramsden’s franchise in Brighton and a café in the Peckham Pulse Healthy Living Centre, London.
