Spooky Goings On at Conkers this Halloween

Swadlincote – On Saturday 30th October 2010, the award-winning Conkers attraction in the heart of the National Forest, is playing host to a spooky evening’s entertainment to mark the creepiest night of the year. Half-Term Fun at Conkers this Autumn

Moira, nr. Swadlincote – This Half-Term holiday, the award-winning Conkers attraction in the heart of the National Forest, will be laying-on a fun-packed two weeks of activities and entertainment to keep the whole family busy – all included in the normal ticket price. Starting on Monday the 18th October - from Dream Ponies and Ranger craft activities, through to circus workshops and the Animal Man, Nick Spellman - every day of the holiday has something going on - right through to Sunday 31st October. Each day, the Centre’s rangers will be hosting daily craft sessions between 12pm and 3pm.

National Brewery Centre Shire Horses at Conkers

Conkers Launches a New Barefoot Walk in the National Forest

Moira, nr.Swadlincote, South Derbyshire, UK – 23rd March 2010 – Staff at the award-winning Conkers attraction in the heart of the National Forest are gearing up for a bumper weekend of fun and activities on the 27th and 28th of March 2010. The event sees the grand opening of a brand new barefoot walk that takes visitors on a tour spanning 200-years of the rich, industrial heritage of the local area – from when spa waters were being extracted from the local coal mines in the 19th Century, to the development of the railway network and the creation of the National Forest in more recent times.
