Global agreement on base station components - PartnerTech to Fill Major Telecom Order in 2004 PartnerTech, a leading contract manufacturer, has entered into an agreement covering five different products of a global telecom equipment maker. The assignment will add some SEK 100 million to PartnerTech's 2004 revenue. Manufacture of the products, all of which are radio base station components, will begin immediately. "This agreement marks a breakthrough for us a in the restructured telecom industry supplier chain," says PartnerTech CEO Mikael Jonson. "It is very much a result of the production set-up and special technical expertise that we have developed and maintained during the past three difficult years." Production, including both electronic and mechanical assembly, takes place at PartnerTech's plant in Sieradz, Poland, for shipment to other parts of Europe. "One of our biggest competitive advantages in obtaining this agreement was our ability to take an overall approach to the products and to deliver complete modules," concludes Jonson.
