PartnerTech: Collaboration on new advanced research tool for pharmaceutical industry PartnerTech and Gyros AB have signed a several year development and manufacturing agreement on a new research tool for the pharmaceutical industry. According to PartnerTech CEO Mikael Jonson, "It's exciting to be such an integral part of the growth and intensive development that is under way in biotechnology and biomedicine. The collaboration with Gyros puts us in charge of parts of the development resources as well as the production and testing equipment." The newly developed research tools yield many times more test results in a short period, as well as more data from each sample. Thus, profitability is considerably better than with ordinary laboratories. Maris Hartmanis, President of Gyros AB, comments, "One of the main reasons we chose PartnerTech was their widely acknowledged expertise in the area of biomedicine and medical technology equipment. Another crucial consideration was their flexibility." According to Jonson, "This is our second big medical equipment project in just a short period of time.
