PartnerTech acquisition approved by Polish authorities On March 8, 2001, PartnerTech AB (publ) acquired shares in Swedish company, EQ Elektroniq AB, and in the Polish company, Baltic Microwave SP. Z.O.O., a contract manufacturer for the telecommunications industry. The acquisition of Baltic Microwave was conditional on the approval of the Polish authorities. Pending this approval, EQ Elektroniq AB has held a 45-percent interest in Baltic Microwave. PartnerTech has now received approval from the Polish authorities, meaning that PartnerTech now owns all shares in Baltic Microwave SP. Z.O.O. Payment for the remainder of the shares will, in part, involve an issue of PartnerTech shares, contingent upon the approval of shareholders at a Special General Meeting. Including the remaining payment for EQ Elektroniq AB, dilution, at the current share price, is calculated at approximately 3 percent. PartnerTech develops and manufactures electronics products under contract for leading growth companies, primarily in telecom infrastructure, IT/mechatronics, and medical equipment. The Group, which has some 800 employees, is quoted on the Attract 40 list of the Stockholm Exchange.
