PartnerTech signs letter of intent concerning acquisition of Artemas Danish production unit. PartnerTech and Artema have today signed a letter of intent regarding further analyzes of PartnerTechs possibilities for acquisition of Artemas danish production unit Troniqa. Troniqa is located at Aabybro, Jylland and manufactures advanced medical instruments with focus on defibrillators and monitors. The operational net sales is about SEK 100 million. "Troniqa is a plant with focus on Medical Technology. It will provide the platform for growth we need in order to further develop our operations within Medical Technology" says PartnerTechs' CEO Mikael Jonson. Artema AB (publ) developes, manufactures and markets medical instruments for routine healthcare within anestetics and intensive care. The group which has operations in Sweden and Denmark, had a net sales of SEK 229 million 1998. Artema is noted at the Swedish Stock Exchange. PartnerTech AB (public listed) develops and manufactures electronic products under contract for leading growth companies, mainly within Telecommunications, Information Technology and Medical Technology. The company is quoted on the Swedish Stock Exchange and has had first six months 1999 net sales of almost SEK 400 million.
