Perten Instruments Outsources All of its Production to PartnerTech PartnerTech, a leading contract manufacturer, signed a collaboration agreement today with Perten Instruments, which specializes in quality control instruments for feed, food, flour and grain. PartnerTech will immediately take over production of the analytical instruments that Perten previously manufactured in Sweden and in other countries. The agreement is initially worth SEK 30-50 million to PartnerTech on an annual basis. "Our choice fell on PartnerTech because they offered the best overall solution," says CEO Sven Holmlund of Perten Instruments. "We were looking for a flexible, service-oriented and highly skilled partner for development and manufacturing of our high-tech products. By outsourcing our production to an experienced contract manufacturer like PartnerTech, we will become even more competitive." Perten Instruments draws most of its customers from grain processors - 90% of all mills worldwide use the company's analytical instruments. Both parties regard the agreement as the first step in a relationship that offers major potential for development.
