PPH agreement on fast-track patent procedure between Finland and China extended

The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) and the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China (SIPO) have signed an agreement on continued Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) co-operation. The agreement enters into force on 1 January, and includes both national and PCT applications.

In the last few years, the Chinese patent office has received the greatest number of PPH requests. They actively encourage applicants to make good use of the PPH.

PPH agreement between the PRH and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office also enters into force at the beginning of 2014.
