4th International EcoSummit Concludes in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (October 5, 2012) – The 4th EcoSummit concluded in Columbus, Ohio, USA       this afternoon. More than 1,500 scientists, economists and corporate leaders from 75 countries convened to discuss proactive ecological solutions in these changing and challenging global times.

Top Headlines from Day Five of EcoSummit 2012: Friday, October 5, 2012

  1. We all want a better quality of life for our children. Meeting those goals while preserving our ecology are often at odds. Robert Costanza is Distinguished University Professor of Sustainability and Director of the Institute for Sustainable Solutions (ISS) at Portland State University and Editor in Chief for “Solutions” magazine. He discussed these roadblocks and how to overcome them to create a more sustainable and successful future.
  1. EcoSummit 2012 concludes with a closing ceremony in Columbus, Ohio, USA at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
