Payair´s mobile shopping solution gets more accessible for e-retailers globally
Swedish Payair´s solution for mobile shopping gets more accessible for hundreds of thousands e-retailers over the globe. This has been achieved in co-operation with Pixpro, the leading Joomla! web agency in Sweden, who has developed a new Joomla extension. Joomla is one of the most commonly used web platforms in the world. The Swedish web shop CleanCut.se, which is focused on selling chef knives over the web, is the first web shop to use this extension.
Payair is a leader within the mobile shopping industry and its solution is widely used. In co-operation with Pixpro, who is the leading extensions developer in Sweden for the Joomla web platform, Payair's shopping solution creates easy access for e-retailers around the globe.
“This opens a door for rapid development. We are already a frontrunner with our mobile shopping solution. We made the commercial launch over a year ago and we know that there is a big demand for mobile solutions all over the world. Now it will be easier for e-retailers to offer a mobile shopping alternative”, says Staffan Ljung, CEO at Payair.
Joomla is a free open source web platform, which has rapidly grown in only seven years to one of the most used web platforms in the world. At this time there have been 35 million downloads of Joomla and more than 10 000 extensions have been developed to enhance the Joomla platform. Since Joomla is built on open source the extensions are often free or available at a very low cost. VirtueMart is one of the most widely used e-commerce extensions for Joomla today.
Pixpro, Sweden´s leading Joomla specialised web agency has developed several extensions for Joomla platform. One of which has been downloaded over 100 000 times.
“It has now become easy for e-retailers to add Payair´s solution for mobile shopping to the most used extension for e-commerce – VirtueMart. Implementation is very easy and Payair can now reach a market they would not otherwise have had access to”, says Sarah Watz, CEO at Pixpro.
CleanCut.se is the first web shop to install Payair's Joomla mobile shopping solution. CleanCut.se has the largest range of chef knives in Sweden.
“This is a very exiting project for us and it has been a very interesting process. It is important for us to be able to offer convenient payment options to our customers. Furthermore, it is also important for us to be early with new solutions”, says Christofer Åslund, CEO at CleanCut.se.
The great advantage with Payair's Joomla solution for CleanCut.se is it's easy implementation. Christofer Åslund now hopes that his customers will discover how easy shopping can be with Payair´s solution for mobile shopping.
