Latest PDQ POS version with advanced security functionality now available
Newtown, PA – November 16, 2010 – Signature Systems, Inc. announces a strategic development partnership with Payment Processing, Inc. (PPI). The companies have integrated the PPI PayMover hosted payment platform with PDQ POS point-of-sale software from Signature Systems for the quick service restaurant industry. The resulting functionality allows merchants to process electronic payments easily while vastly improving transaction security.
Leveraging PPI’s Point-2-Point Cardholder Data Security Program, PDQ POS utilizes Managed Payer Data for recurring business, allowing the storage of the credit card data on PPI’s secure servers, significantly reducing risk for the merchant and the restaurant customer. PDQ POS is a validated Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) application, compliant with the global security standard created by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. In addition to security upgrades, the point-of-sale application provides integrated credit and debit card processing, and gift card programs.
