Convertible debentures for Peab Industri’s employees oversubscribed - 42 per cent of the staff take part in the programme

All Peab Industri employees were invited to subscribe to convertible debentures in Peab Industri between 26 November and 12 December 2007. Altogether some 42 per cent (1,081) of Peab Industri’s approximate 2,600 employees in Sweden, Norway and Finland applied to subscribe to convertible debentures in Peab Industri. Of Peab’s approximate 12,600 employees, 30 per cent (3,746) applied to subscribe to convertible debentures in Peab Industri.

6 million convertible personnel debentures were issued in December 2007 to an overall nominal value of SEK 396 million. The value of convertible debentures applied for by employees amounts to SEK 1,126 million, resulting in an oversubscription of SEK 730 million (1.8 times).

The convertible debentures run from 1 December 2007 to 30 November 2012, and may be converted in December 2010, in December 2011 and in September 2012 at an exercise price of SEK 66. The rate of interest on the convertible debentures is fixed at 5.44 per cent during their term.
