Peab Industri establishes transportation services in the north of Sweden

Peab Industri has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares of Nordisk Maskintjänst with business within transportation and contractors´ machinery services in Norrbotten, in the north of Sweden.

Nordisk Maskintjänst had a turnover of 104 MSEK during 2006 and has five employees and a network of associated transport and machinery contractors.

The business will be accounted for within the Services business area.

– With this acquisition Peab Industri will be established also within transport and contractors´ machinery services in the north of Sweden. This is very positive since this type of activity also creates sales within other business areas, says Mats O Paulsson, CEO Peab Industri AB.

The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Swedish Competition Authority.
