Peab Industri makes acquisition in Norrland

Peab Industri has acquired all shares in Engströms Grävmaskiner AB in Boden. The company provides machinery services in the county of Norrbotten and the number of employees is 34. In 2006, the company’s sales amounted to SEK 45 million.

The company will be consolidated in the Services business area as off the fourth quarter 2007.

– It is a matter of great satisfaction to have acquired Engströms Grävmaskiner and establish machinery business in Norrland. Our strategy continues to be based on the acquisition of well-managed companies with strong local management and stable profitability, says Mats O Paulsson, CEO of Peab Industri.

This year, Peab Industri has acquired a total of seven companies, which together had sales in the region of SEK 500 million in 2006.
