PEARSON OPENS PTE ACADEMIC TEST CENTER IN MOSCOW

LONDON - Pearson has today announced the opening of its test center for the delivery of PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) in Moscow, with the first test session available on 11 January.

Responding to demand from institutions and students, this is the second PTE Academic test center Pearson has opened in Russia, complementing the existing center in St Petersburg.

PTE Academic is Pearson’s secure English language test (SELT), accepted by universities and colleges worldwide, as well as the UK Border Agency and the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship for visa applications.

The new test center is located in Moscow's metropolitan area, close to Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station and will offer frequent testing sessions for PTE Academic. So far the following test dates for Moscow have been made available:

Our test center in Moscow will allow us to offer an English language test that is fast, secure and reliable to a greater number of Russian students who want to study abroad.”

Students who want to take PTE Academic can register up to 48 hours before a testing session and will receive their results typically within 5 business days. The test is completed in a single three-hour test session and assesses students’ speaking, reading, listening and writing skills so that they have a clear indication of their English language ability.
