FundedByMe and the City of Helsingborg have signed an agreement regarding the product reward-based crowdfunding*
An agreement has been signed for the re-launch of the “reward-based crowdfunding” product to help small business owners during the Corona crisis.
– The city of Helsingborg is a very modern and progressive municipality. Helsingborg is a role model for all of Sweden's municipalities on how to quickly and effectively join forces with other actors to assist as best as possible in this crisis, says Daniel Daboczy, CEO FundedByMe.
FundedByMe is the EU's largest crowdfunding platform and has so far raised money for more than 650 companies and over 1000 projects through so-called equity crowdfunding. To assist during the corona crisis, FundedByMe previously announced a decision to reactivate its donation-based crowdfunding product and will launch it in collaboration with the City of Helsingborg for the Easter weekend.
The collaboration is not exclusive, instead, both parties hope to open up the opportunity for more municipalities and other actors to see value in joining, so that the opportunity reaches as many entrepreneurs as possible.
