Pergo gives no forecast for 2003

Pergo gives no forecast for 2003 Pergo is denying the information about growth in earnings for 2003 that was presented in the article dated August 12, 2002 by the Swedish magazine, Privata Affärer, on its webpage. The board of directors' and the management's estimate in the interim report dated July 22, 2002 of an operating result of 50 MSEK for 2002 is still valid. Pergo has not released any forecast for the operating result for 2003. As earlier communicated in the prospectus from the rights issue, the laminate flooring market is expected to long term have a growth of about 10-20% per year. The growth in the market has for the last year been low and it is expected to have a low growth rate in the shorter perspective. The action program has, as communicated in the latest interim report, run better than plan. The target for the result effect in the action program will be raised from the earlier communicated level of at least 500 MSEK per year over a 2-year period.
