Pergo offers commission-free trading for shareholders not holding round lots

The board of Pergo has decided to offer all Pergo shareholders the option of buying or selling (commission-free) the necessary number of Pergo shares required to achieve a shareholding evenly divisible by 500, known as a round lot holding. A round lot consists of 500 shares. If a shareholder holds less than 500 shares before the offer is accepted, the entire holding can be sold commission-free. The offer will be carried out between 10 - 21 October 2005.

A letter containing more details will be sent to directly registered shareholders at the beginning of October. Shareholders, whose ownership is registered in the name of a trustee, will receive the offer through their broker. After the application period, E. Öhman J:or Fondkommission AB, the broker handling the offer, will buy and sell shares on the Stockholm Stock Exchange on a running basis. The price of the shares will be the average share price determined on the basis of all sales and purchases, respectively, made within the framework of the offer. The offer is aimed at all shareholders with a holding not divisible by 500. This means that shareholders with significantly more shares than one round lot can also buy or sell shares to acquire a number of shares evenly divisible by 500. “Throughout the years Pergo has acquired many smaller shareholders with odd lot holdings. This offer makes it easier for these shareholders to buy shares which will eventually improve the liquidity in Pergo’s shares,” says Staffan Söderqvist, CFO of Pergo. Timetable for the offer 10 October: First day of offer. 21 October: Final day of offer. Around 22 November: Transaction notes issued.
